This photograph shows the Queen cutting her birthday cake at The Old Britannia Schoolhouse in Mississauga, Ontario. Since 1997, the Queen has welcomed visitors to the schoolhouse's annual
Queen Victoria Fête and continued to do so in 2002 when the historic schoolhouse celebrated its 150th anniversary.
The Queen would be very much amused to attend any function you may be planning around her birth date. Maypole dancing, Victorian music and games, patriotic songs, verse, parades and precision marching drills could be potential fare for your special event.
